"I never said that. There were very good moments," he answers, and it's honest. There were some nice little moments with Bucky before he managed to cut his hand open -- and even the night spent huddled together in the clinic had not been all bad. He doesn't want Bucky to think there hadn't been... any enjoyment at all.

"It reminds me, sometimes, of Berlin. The isolation, the lack of stimulation and distractions. It makes it so much easier for old ghosts to return," he admits after a moment. He knows that Bucky insists being unconscious during one's captivity hadn't been much better, but part of him still disagrees. He'd have rather slept.

"But you seemed to enjoy it quite a bit... It doesn't unnerve you at all, being so removed from everything?"
