[ when Zemo does arrive, Bucky is not asleep! He's puttering about the house making sure his place doesn't look so damn barren and not-lived-in. And he's only marginally more sober! ]

[He doesn't respond to that 'threat', although it does earn a quiet chuckle.

When he arrives at Bucky's, it isn't a terribly long wait, not entirely sure what he'll find when he enters his house... but that's part of the adventure, isn't it?]

[ Bucky doesn't so much welcome Zemo in as appear suddenly in the entryway, face a little flushed as he spreads his arms wide. His eyes, still glassy, land on Zemo with enthusiasm. ]

Heyyy. Glad you made it. Welcome to casa-de-Barnes, sorry it's underwhelming. C'mon, I still have booze left.

[ He's not outright slurring, but there's a definite overlap to the tail end of certain words with the beginnings of the next. Bucky beckons Zemo over towards his meager bar, where a mostly empty bottle of whiskey sits by itself. ]

I brought you a bottle of something better. You should say thank you, James.

[Although he really shouldn't have from the looks of how much he's already had... Ah, well.

The bottle of more expensive alcohol is placed on the small bar before he gives an expectant look.]

[Although he can't help but notice the lack of-- anything personal, really. Only what's necessary for survival.]

[ the words are barely out of Zemo's mouth before Bucky is claiming his lips with a sloppy kiss. His breath is whiskey-tinged, cheap shit that really Zemo shouldn't be sullied with. There's little time wasted before he goes for tongue, pushing Zemo against the spartan countertop.

[He asked for a kiss. This is decidedly a little bit... more. Bucky manages to draw out a low noise as his back meets the counter's edge.

He tastes exactly like the cheap whiskey he's been drinking all night. Something not quite to Zemo's usual tastes. No wonder he wanted better alcohol.

He only lets Bucky indulge for a moment before he's trying to nudge him back.]

James-- [He turns his head with a quiet chuckle.] This is quite a show of appreciation, but I haven't even slipped out of my coat yet.

[ Bucky reaches to push the coat from Zemo's shoulders, hands a little less nimble than normal. It's entirely possible that wasn't Zemo's way of asking for help removing it, but here they are. ]
