[ the words are barely out of Zemo's mouth before Bucky is claiming his lips with a sloppy kiss. His breath is whiskey-tinged, cheap shit that really Zemo shouldn't be sullied with. There's little time wasted before he goes for tongue, pushing Zemo against the spartan countertop.

Well, you asked, Helmut. ]

[He asked for a kiss. This is decidedly a little bit... more. Bucky manages to draw out a low noise as his back meets the counter's edge.

He tastes exactly like the cheap whiskey he's been drinking all night. Something not quite to Zemo's usual tastes. No wonder he wanted better alcohol.

He only lets Bucky indulge for a moment before he's trying to nudge him back.]

James-- [He turns his head with a quiet chuckle.] This is quite a show of appreciation, but I haven't even slipped out of my coat yet.

[podchinyatsya]

[ Bucky reaches to push the coat from Zemo's shoulders, hands a little less nimble than normal. It's entirely possible that wasn't Zemo's way of asking for help removing it, but here they are. ]

James--

[He squirms as Bucky tugs at his coat, trying to help him along with removing it at least.]

You do have a bed, don't you?"

Yeah-- [ in between planting open mouth kisses along Zemo's neck ] Not tired.

You're also very drunk.

[Drunk and very eager, apparently. He lets out a breath as lips move to his neck, tilting his head.]

Slow down... [He nudges at Bucky's shoulders again.] Ah-- I'm not certain this is appropriate, James.

[ that gets his attention, and he snaps to, taking a step back as if spooked. ]

Ohfuck, Z, I'm sorry. Jesus, you come over to drop something off 'n I just put my mitts all over you.

[ To a man who was made an automaton, consent is critically important. Sure, they've fucked before but Zemo isn't asking, and maybe isn't so keen tonight for that...or because Bucky's three sheets to the wind.

He rubs the back of his neck, taking another step to put more space between them. ]

Youuu should probably take that nice liquor back. I think I've had enough.

[experienceandpatience]

[ That was perhaps a stronger reaction than he meant to inspire. But it earns an affectionate smile from him. Careful even when he's drunk. It's a far cry from the reactions he used to coax from the man. ]

No apologies needed, James. I'm hardly upset. And that bottle is yours... consider it a belated house warming gift.

[ In an attempt to soothe any concerns, Zemo steps in closer, sliding a hand up Bucky's chest to his shoulder before drawing him in closer. ]

I'm more concerned about taking advantage of you than the other way around. I can hardly think of a time when I wouldn't want you...

[ there's a pause, amused. ]

You called me Z again.

Ehh, you couldn't take advantage of me. Brain's fixed now. [ He semi-slurs, leaning into the touch as he taps his temple. ] Besides, I'm stronger than you even when I'm shitfaced.

[ Which likely isn't the point, but his alcohol-soaked mind isn't really connecting dots logically.

Then he huffs, looking down as if suddenly shy. Bucky blushes a little, biting his bottom lip like a teenager might do with their crush. ]

Yeah.

[experienceandpatience]

[Their strength isn't really what he was referring to, no, but Zemo lets out a quiet, charmed chuckle.]

Thank you for your kind reassurances, James.

[He teases lightly.]

You may call me Z if you want. I like it. [He nudges a shoulder against him fondly. More for the fondness and familiarity it implies than any actual nickname.]

Yeah?

[ He bites his lip again, coy, as Zemo nudges him. Encouraged by their playful banter, Bucky leans in to give Zemo a quick smooch before resuming his bashful routine. ]

[experienceandpatience]

[It's actually rather-- charming. The coy routine. He shifts in closer, leaning in for a bit of a longer kiss.]

Yes. [He lets out a soft laugh.] Why are you so shy, James? Quite a change from the man who texted me for alcohol and sex earlier...

[ a bit dazed, he blinks before protesting. ]

I'm not!!

You just...I dunno, make me feel all flustered when you say you like things I do. [ a shrug. ] Can't say why.

[ Alcohol and sex aren't off the table! Just- suspended for a moment. Briefly. ]

[experienceandpatience]

[He arches a brow at that confession before he reaches out to slide a hand into Bucky's, giving him a tug.]

Then I will have to remember to tell you what I like about you more often. [He gives a short smile.]

But for now, let's sit, James.

[podchinyatsya]

Sit? Are we having a round? Because I'm pretty sure I've had enough.

[ But he's not protesting, following Zemo's lead as easily as breathing. ]

[experienceandpatience]

I'm sure you've had enough as well. But I thought you wanted my company... was there something else you had in mind, James?

[He looks over his shoulder, giving a teasing look over.]

Ah, I suppose there was. You seemed rather eager to have me over your bar earlier...

[podchinyatsya]

I mean, the bedroom's right over there.

[ Not that it's as resplendent as Zemo's. But he is sleeping in his physical bed more now, and not the floor! ]

Unless you want me to bend you over the bar...

[experienceandpatience]

[Tiny steps! Zemo would be proud. Although now, he's just arching a brow at Bucky.]

It has its appeal, certainly. But I think it's only proper that I see your bed at some point as well...

[There's a more mischievous look as he takes a step away from Bucky, eyes scanning around his home.]

Perhaps I don't want a single area of your home to be without some memory of us, together.

[podchinyatsya]

Mm, I like how you think. [ He makes for the bar, prepping a small glass with ice for Zemo and pouring a couple fingers of liquor. Bucky reappears to proffer the drink, wry. ]

Just forgive my lack of throw pillows.

[experienceandpatience]

[He reaches for that drink with a thanks, lips curling up in amusement.]

You do have a rather... minimalistic approach. Only what's absolutely necessary?

[podchinyatsya]

[ Bucky shrugs, self-conscious about things now that Zemo is bringing it up. ]

I don't think about it. I mean, I got a bed, a kitchen, a shower...more than I ever did since 1938.

[experienceandpatience]

[He didn't mean to make Bucky self-conscious, really. He takes a sip from the glass as he reaches up with his free hand, resting it against the side of Bucky's face, lets his thumb idly brush past Bucky's lips.]

Comparatively fewer things to defile than my own place, but those are good starting points.

[He teases, lips quirking up into a smile as he tries to coax Bucky to relax.]

Defile...

[ He says with mock-affront. But he turns his face into Zemo's palm, forgetting about his lack of decor for the man in front of him. His guest is far more important. ]

Are we starting our reign of destruction in here or the kitchen?

Oh, no. It's your house, James. You get to choose.

[He leans up to press a quick kiss to the other man's lips, almost teasing.]

I wonder... have you thought about me here, James? Any little fantasies you would like to play out?

[podchinyatsya]

Honestly, no. But I don't imagine people coming over here either. You're basically the first.

[ Except Sam, who only comes to make sure Bucky isn't isolating (and to give him throw pillows or candles). ]

But I doooo have a few ideas to break this place in.
